So, when you build a water wall or an indoor waterfall then you want to use a water additive against germs and algae, but you should take care and be very careful to test the water additive, because it might happen that your water additive is changing the surface tension of the water and then you can have two effects, which are pretty bad.

One effect can be that  you will not be able to create a water film across the whole glass plate, like for example in this water wall. Here you can see we have a very nice complete water film covering the whole glass plate with harmonically distributed waves. So if you use the wrong water additive and increase the water tension of the water then you get such streams which then do not cover the complete glass plate and they're also pretty loud and they create splashing.

Daniela E. Schenker, she wrote a book about the meaning of water features in Feng Shui and one of her chapters is covering water features in the bedroom and she says, if you have a water feature or a water wall in your bedroom, then you will make better love.

So, how is that possible ? Well, maybe you know or maybe you don't know, but actually water features make you relax. So, watching the water flow and maybe also when you listen to the voice of the floating water, you relax. And when women relax, they can enjoy making love much more. So, this is the reason why water features and water walls can help improve your love life, because especially women, when they are relaxed, they can enjoy it more.

In this video I'm going to show you how we have planned a water feature in the backyard for a customer.

Here you can see the basic set up, already with all the covers but just up front, down here, we have a tank. Here we would have the pump. The pump would direct the water through a 32 millimeters diameter hose or pipe to the top of the water wall and then the water would be distributed in an overflow channel, which I will show you in a minute, and then the water would go across those natural stone tiles, being collected here in a bottom tank and then moving forward back to the tank, which is digged below the grass. So, this is the main circle.

Then you can see here an overflow channel made of stainless steel which is supported by 2 PVC sub distributions. So, this 32 diameter pipe is then divided into two pipes and each would have a PVC sub distribution. This sub distribution is very clearly explained in our Glass Waterwall...

I want to thank Ameen who has sent me this video of the water wall he has built and here's a challenge : actually it is working, not bad, as you can see here, so he has a complete cover of the surface, but he contacted me because he said it's not possible to let the water run down slowly.

So this is because if you use such a pipe with holes then the water does not have the possibility to unite, so you have those different streams. In an other video a few weeks ago I have shown you this water wall which I have found in a pharmacy and it's a very beautiful water wall, by the way, so the stainless steel work is really like an art. But the water distribution also was made with holes in a pipe. And as you can see here too, you when the holes get polluted then the water will run down the pipes. This is one problem or one reason why I don't like such pipes but the other reason and this is what the problem Ameen has right now, is that you...
